Terms of Service
Wolfix Service LLC
Effective Date: September 4, 2025
1. Scheduling & Appointments
By scheduling service with Wolfix Service LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. Scheduling or allowing a technician to begin service constitutes acceptance. Appointments are confirmed based on availability. We will do our best to arrive on time, but delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, or extended prior service calls. We may reschedule an appointment if necessary parts are unavailable or unforeseen conditions arise.
2. Service Call & Estimates
A Service Call fee covers the technician's trip, inspection, diagnosis, and written repair estimate.
- This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied toward the total repair cost if you proceed.
- If the appliance is not accessible or installed in a way that prevents safe inspection, additional charges may apply.
- If no problem is found, or the issue is intermittent, the Service Call fee still applies.
- Service requests outside a 50-mile radius from our office may include a trip fee.
3. Payments
Payment is due upon completion of service.
- Accepted methods: cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and approved digital payments.
- We do not offer financing or credit terms at this time.
- Estimates are provided before any repairs. Additional charges may apply if new issues are discovered during repair.
4. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Please notify us at least 8 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 8 hours' notice may be charged the full Service Call fee.
- If nonreturnable parts were ordered for your repair, you are responsible for their cost even if you cancel.
5. Repairs
Repairs are quoted as a flat rate based on parts, labor, and complexity — not hourly charges.
- Estimates are valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified.
- Technicians cannot alter previously agreed prices but may adjust estimates if new issues are discovered.
6. Warranty
We provide a limited warranty on completed repairs:
- Labor / Workmanship: covered for 30–180 days, depending on the type of repair.
- Parts: covered by the manufacturer's warranty (typically 30–180 days).
Warranty is void if:
- The appliance has been tampered with after repair.
- Damage is caused by misuse, external conditions, or third parties.
- Recommended repairs were declined.
- Intermittent problems are not always diagnosable on the first visit and are not covered under labor warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
In the event inspections or repairs cannot be performed, are delayed, or are not successful, Wolfix Service LLC's liability for damages — including consequential damages — is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the service.
8. Damage Waivers
By allowing our technician to work on your appliance, you accept the following:
Waiver of Damages When Moving Appliances
Moving appliances carries inherent risk of damage to the appliance and surrounding flooring, cabinetry, or countertops. Technicians are not required to move appliances. If requested, you agree to hold harmless both the technician and Wolfix Service LLC for any damages incurred.
Waiver of Damages When Lifting Glass Cooktops
Lifting glass or ceramic cooktops to access components underneath carries risk of breakage. While technicians exercise care, Wolfix Service LLC is not responsible for breakage. By allowing the technician to proceed, you assume all such risks and waive the right to make any claims.
9. Warranty Disclaimer for Electronic Components & Power Surges
Warranty does not apply to electronic components or labor associated with installation if failure is caused by:
- Power surges
- Voltage fluctuations
- Unstable electrical supply
We strongly recommend using a power surge protector. While it can help minimize risk, complete protection is not guaranteed.
10. Governing Law & Entire Agreement
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain valid.
- This document represents the entire agreement between the customer and Wolfix Service LLC.
